Spring flavours on the menu at La Petite Colombe

La Petite Colombe is celebrating it’s first anniversary as any top restaurant would, with a brand new seasonal menu.

The pressure of being the sister restaurant to La Colombe has not weighed heavily on the team that over the past 12 months worked very hard to make their mark in Franschhoek.

Head Chef John Norris-Rogers says: “Being the sister restaurant to the world-renowned La Colombe comes with a certain amount of pressure. Set against exceptionally high expectations, I’m particularly proud of what our team at La Petite Colombe has accomplished, and the skills each team member brings to the restaurant. We have had a great year to date and were completely humbled by the response to our opening, and will continue to strive to deliver the very best guest experience.”

Taking inspiration from each season and the best available produce, the La Petite Colombe team has been working on a fresher menu for Spring, with a lighter touch that suits the warmer days ahead.

Chef Norris-Rogers says: “I’m currently developing a fresh oyster dish using elements of gazpacho, jalapeño and shiso that I can’t wait to share with diners.”

La Petite Colombe has a 4-course Spring lunch special. R425 per person or R795 with a wine pairing. This is valid, Monday to Sunday, until 30 November 2018.
