A sedan flipped and landed on its side in a ditch in a crash involving a fuel truck on Uplands Drive Thursday afternoon.
One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, paramedics said.
Police, who called to the scene at 1:52 p.m., closed the roadway between West Hunt Club and Research Private while they investigated.
Firefighters were called in to free a person who was trapped inside the Hyundai sedan but were able to extract them through the vehicle’s sunroof by 2:07 p.m. with a hose at the ready in case the tanker truck ignited.
