Sarah Palin revealed her Alaska home has been damaged after a massive 7.9 magnitude earthquake rocked her beloved state.
The former Alaska Governor and vice presidential candidate tweeted that her house was not intact after the quake, but did not elaborate on specific damage.
“[Pray] for Alaska. Our family is intact – house is not,” she wrote on Twitter. “So thankful to be safe.”
for Alaska. Our family is intact – house is not… I imagine that’s the case for many, many others. So thankful to be safe; praying for our state following the earthquake.

After the earthquake struck Friday, a Tsunami is anticipated to hit Alaska’s Cook Inlet and southern Kenai Peninsula.
According to reports, the quake completely destroyed local news station KTUU. The natural disaster knocked the network off air as items fell from shelves at the station and computers went flying.
The NOAA alert said that “for other US and Canadian Pacific coasts in North America, the level of tsunami danger is being evaluated. Further information will be provided in supplementary messages.”
