Police search for vehicle linked to Chestermere slaying

Police are looking for leads in a fatal shooting of Dennis Lewis, killed east of the city earlier this week.

Mounties were called to a residence in the West Creek Mews area of Chestermere on Monday around 10:30 a.m. When officers arrived they found 41-year-old Dennis Lewis in the home suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The death is being investigated as a homicide and police said there were sings of a struggle inside the home.
