The death toll from typhoon Ompong rose to 29 Sunday afternoon as four more fatalities were reported in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
Thirteen persons were missing.
Francis Tolentino, Presidential Adviser on Political Affairs, said 24 of the 29 fatalities were from CAR. Six were from Baguio City.
