Last year, Nissan made owners of the R32 Skyline GT-R really happy when it announced its Nismo Heritage Parts programme. Now, the Japanese carmaker has extended the programme to include both the R33 and R34 models, so if you have the means, you can get factory replacement parts to keep your classic running.
Nissan’s move is a result of customers requesting for more parts and models to be added to the programme, which now offers about 160 parts, making the Nismo Heritage Parts programme the largest selection of parts for these models in Japan.
Owners of R33 and R34 models will be able to get exterior, powertrain, electrical and various mechanical components from the programme. Meanwhile, additional parts will be added for the R32 – including not just essentials related to driving performance or vehicle inspections, but also hard-to-find components such as new weather stripping or power window switches.
Nissan says that it will continue to foster a close relationship with Nissan Skyline GT-R owners, and will look to expand the availability of R32, R33 and R34 parts.
Should you happen to be in Japan on December 2, you’ll be able to get a first look at some of parts offered under the programme at the Omori factory booth during the 2018 Nismo Festival. Now, who’s interested?
