Taking to Twitter, Niall wrote: “Guys you gotta start looking out for each other at shows.

“That’s two shows in a week we’ve nearly had to cancel.

“I’m as excited to be there as you but ya gotta take care of yourselves in the audience.”

He added: “I mean have ya heard my album Hahahahaha. It’s not meant to look like a rave out there.”

Niall had been playing his second night at the Pepsi Center in Mexico city.

His crew almost pulled the plug mid-set after noticing girls in the crowd dropping like flies.

The same issue occurred a week earlier at Luna Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

One fan replied on social media: “It’s been happening all over latin America…. guess we’re just too passionate. Lol.”

Another who was at the Mexico gig said: “The crowd was insane today – and not in a good way.”

Scores more praised the singer for caring about their safety.

Niall told Sun Online exclusively that he is planning an extended break from the showbiz bubble after a year spent on the road.
