Missing, possibly endangered 9-month-old boy taken by father from Rangely

Authorities are searching for Michael David Young who allegedly took his son Dustin Michael David Young on Dec. 7, 2018.

CBI has issued an endangered and missing person alert for a 9-month-old boy out of Rangely.

According to the Rangely Police Department, Michael David Young, 37, took his son, Dustin Michael David Young, from their home in Rangely on Friday around 7:30 a.m.

The child is described as a white male with blue or brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen in a black sweater and black pants with stars and spaceships on them.

The father is about 6 feet tall with blue eyes and blonde hair. He is possibly headed to Utah with the child in a 2008 white Ford Super Duty Truck with a flatbed. The vehicle has an orange light on the top of the cab and Utah license plate V660CB.

The child may be in danger, according to CBI.
