Police in Miami Township, Ohio, reported a possible sighting of missing New Jersey 15-year-old Thomas Kolding on Friday.
The Mountain Lakes High School freshman is believed to have left home on Oct. 30 with $1,000, leaving his cellphone and other electronics behind.
In a Facebook post, the Miami Township police department asked for the public’s assistance in locating the teen, noting there had been multiple reports of Kolding in the area.
In the post, he was described as carrying a blue Adidas backpack and might be wearing a camouflage jacket. He is 5 feet 3 inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
Kolding was last seen Nov. 3 at the Walter Rand Transportation Center in Camden, where he was picked up on a surveillance camera.
His parents previously told police their son had a strong interest in traveling to California, possibly the Bay Area.
