The girl band – who formed on rival reality show The X Factor in 2011 – will be singing their new song, Strip, on the Sunday night results for the semi-finals. And all the male dancers will be asked to sit this one out as the band flies the flag for feminism.
They tweeted: “We’re so excited for this one! Your girls are gonna be performing on Strictly this Sunday and it’s the first time all the dancers and band will be women.”

It’s the first time in the show’s 14-year history that this will have happened.
Little Mix announced they were splitting from Simon Cowell’s Syco label last month, just days before the release of their new album, LM5.
The group – Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards – have sold over 30 million records worldwide, with all four of their previous albums going platinum. They’ve also had four number one singles and nine more Top 10 hits.
A weekend of firsts
This weekend, it’s also the first time the remaining five couples in the competition will dance two songs.
One couple will be voted off, as usual, leaving the final four to perform in the live final on Saturday 15 December.
Strictly Come Dancing results show is on Sunday 9 December on BBC One at 7.15pm
