Friday’s CIF-SS Division 1 football playoff game between Oaks Christian and host JSerra has been postponed until Saturday because of the wildfires in Ventura County, according to Lions football coach Pat Harlow.
“Postponed until tomorrow at 7 (pm),” Harlow said in an e-mail Friday morning.
All, due to the fires, today’s game has been cancelled. Please stay safe and news on a rescheduled date will come as soon as we know.

Oaks Christian is located Westlake Village, near the wildfires that reportedly closed parts of the 101 Freeway.
The game was scheduled to be broadcast by Fox Sports West.
More football games in Southern California could be affected. San Juan Hills is scheduled to host Calabasas in a Division 2 quarterfinal game. Calabasas also is located near the fires.
