Jets CEO marries major IMG executive in ‘uber-private’ ceremony

Jets CEO Christopher Johnson reportedly married an IMG executive in Montana.

It’s been quite a few months for Christopher Johnson.

The current Jets CEO is overseeing a franchise that traded up in the 2018 NFL Draft to land Sam Darnold, possibly securing its future at the quarterback position for the first time in, well, a long time.

Now Johnson has reportedly secured his own personal life for the foreseeable future.

According to a Page Six report from the New York Post, Johnson was married to IMG executive Doris Wong in an “uber-private’ ceremony in July.

Jets CEO Christopher Wold Johnson — who took over the NFL team when older brother Woody Johnson became the US ambassador to the UK — was married last month in an uber-private ceremony to IMG exec Doris Wong, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

Johnson married Wong in Montana, we hear — then celebrated with a Manhattan party at the Bowery Hotel for 250 guests.

Woody apparently attended the late July bash to toast the couple.

Christopher is so private, little has ever been reported on his personal life.

Christopher’s ascension to the top of the Jets organization came when Woody took the US ambassador gig for Donald Trump’s administration.

Jets preseason opener

If Johnson and his wife want to take in a game this week, the Jets and Darnold are slated for their preseason opener on Friday night. New York will begin the regular season with a Monday Night Football tilt in Detroit in Week 1.
