Facebook DOWN as users claim to be logged out and unable to get back in

FACEBOOK users have today been logged out of their accounts in a massive system meltdown.

Users of the social media site are unable to access their accounts after being booted out due to an “unexpected error”.

They have taken to other channels to report the problem — with some taking photos of the error screen.

It reads: “Login Error. An unexpected error occurred. Please try logging in again”.

Users claim that when they try to access their account they are forced to reset their password with a code that is sent to their phone or email.

But many are not receiving the pass code, according to accounts on Twitter.

The Down Detector site said the problem could be Europe-wide with potentially millions of accounts affected.
