Dress in your ghoulish best for Rocky Horror film at Harsimus Cemetery

With Halloween just around the corner, there’s no place that will be more terrifying than Jersey City’s Harsimus Cemetery, with a live screening of the cult phenomenon that is “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” The movie will be screened on Friday night, Oct 12, at 7:30 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to dress up as their favorite characters, from the nefarious Dr. Frank N. Furter to the titular Rocky.

Goody bags with props will also be available for purchase for those wishing to participate in evening event. Food, wine and beer, and soft drinks will be available. Outside alcohol is prohibited. 

Those looking for good seats are advised to arrive early, as there are limited folding chairs. Guests are also encouraged to bring their own seats and blankets if they wish.

Admission for the evening is $15. Tickets will be sold at the gate (cash only). Off street parking is available on 7th St, 1/2 block below the Cemetery. Harsimus Cemetery is located at 435 Newark Ave, Jersey City.
