Disneyland is scrapping Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple – and fans are devastated

IT turns out the new Star Wars land coming to Disneyland is a bittersweet event for some fans.

Because the park has had to get rid of their Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple in order to make way for the new land.

According to Travel And Leisure, the kids’ favourite will be closing on November 4.

While guests had hoped that the training centre would make a return next year when the new land opened, reports have stated that there won’t be enough room.

The Jedi Training in the park’s Tomorrowland area was aimed at both kids and teenagers, with a show lasting nearly half an hour.

Under Jedi tutelage, rookies learned how to use the Force—and their wit—to wield lightsabers against the Empire’s most feared warriors.

Novice knights were then challenged to use their new skills when they came face-to-face with Kylo Ren or Darth Vader.

The new Star Wars land will hopefully go some way to numbing the pain when it arrives though.

The mini theme parks, which are currently under construction, will transport guests to a never-before-seen planet.

There will be a presence of the First Order and the Resistance just walking around the streets, involving guests in smaller experiences away from the rides

The remote trading port, a collaboration between Disney and Star Wars, is a mysterious destination somewhere on the Outer Rim — lying on the edge of the Unknown Regions.

It has become a thriving port for smugglers, rogue traders and adventurers travelling between the frontier and uncharted space.

Here, guests will find themselves in the middle of the action at two signature attractions, one of which lets visitors take the controls of Millennium Falcon on a customised secret mission.

The second focuses on an epic Star Wars adventure that puts guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

Unlike other theme parks, a plot line can follow guests throughout their day on the different attractions as the entire park is being created as an immersive theatre experience.
