Denver weather: Warm temps, sunny skies for the week

Southwesterly winds will bring warmer temperatures into the Denver metro area for most of the week, according to forecasters.

The high temperature in Denver on Monday will be around 48 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

Tuesday through Thursday the highs will reach the lower 50s, the NWS says.

Snow is expected in the mountains between Tuesday and Friday, forecasters say.

Denver has a slight chance for snow after 11 a.m. on Friday. It will be cooler with a high temperature around 43 degrees.

On the weekend, temperatures will rise to about 35 degrees on Saturday and 45 on Sunday, the NWS says.
