Demaryius Thomas signs with New England Patriots

Former Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas has signed with the New England Patriots, the team announced Tuesday on its official website.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Thomas in October was traded by the Broncos to the Houston Texans in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick.

Statistically, the 31-year-old is the second-best receiver in Broncos history, ranking third in catches (665), second in receiving yards (9,055), second in touchdown catches (60) and first in 100-yard receiving games (36).

Thomas in February was arrested on a vehicular assault charge after being involved in a crash in Denver.
