Some of the remains of three mule deer were dumped on U.S. Forest Service property on Mother’s Day weekend in Park County, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife is offering a reward for information on the illegal poaching.
Anyone who provides information about the deer killings that leads to charges could receive a $1,000 reward, according to a news release from CPW.
The partial remains were found in the area of Park County Road 90, north of Eleven Reservoir, the release said. Two of the deer had wounds from a broadhead arrow and were likely shot with a bow or crossbow.
Rangers also found raccoon and fox remains at the same location, according to the release.
Anyone with information is asked to call 303-291-7227 or 1-8-77-265-6648 or email email@example.com. Callers may remain anonymous.
