The news comes after the band made history last Sunday by becoming the first K-pop group to present at the Grammy Awards.

The band, made up of members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimmin, V and Jungkook, performed at the O2 Arena London in October last year. Tickets for the show sold out within minutes.

BTS – which stands for Beyond the Scene – formed in 2013 and has millions of fans across the globe.

‘This is not a drill’

Wembley Stadium announced the news on its Twitter page, simply saying: “Confirmed”.

And fans have been showing just how excited they are to see the band again.

“BTS are coming back to London this summer. This is not a drill,” one fan said, while others felt overwhelmed by the prospect of seeing them in a venue with a 90,000 capacity.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets for the concerts go on general sale at 8:30 am on Friday 1 March. Fans can grab tickets from Live Nation and find more information on the band’s official website.

Early last year their third album Love Yourself: Tear reached number eight on the UK Albums Chart, marking the group’s first top 10 album in the country.

In December, the boy band teased a possible collaboration with British singer Ed Sheeran. Rumours of the two acts collaborating came to light after Sheeran was interviewed by Heatworld  last November, and admitted he had written a track that BTS “might be messing with”.

Sheeran read out the tweet: “I want BTS x Ed Sheeran but when will they ever.

He then replied, “I actually wrote a song that I think they might be messing with. I heard this the other day. I don’t know.

“I really like BTS, though. I think they’re really great.”
