On April 23, co-owners Sylvia and Darren Cheverie are hosting their first long table Brewmaster’s dinner for 2018 with their friends at Bench Creek Brewing. Chef Steve Brochu will pair five great brews with five delicious courses, carefully reflecting the properties of the beer in each course.
The beers on tap are Naked Woodsman Pale Ale, Northern Grace RRIPA, Black Spruce Porter, Hop the Fence Sour IPA and Drexl Imperial Stout. Tickets are $95 plus GST and are available through eventbrite.
Then at month’s end, food and liquor join forces once more at the Sunday Scotch Club on April 29. This time, port is the feature beverage, as participants taste products from the Taylor Fladgate family. The sips will be sampled alongside with five small bites. Tickets are $45 through eventbrite.
